I encourage regular practice on a consistent schedule, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. My teaching style is quite formal, as I tend to enjoy conveying my methods, in addition to my playing style in a dignified, yet light and friendly manner. I like to encourage my students to ask questions, even going so far as to tell them "the dumbest question is the one left unasked." I truly believe in pushing my students to be their very best, and trying to best suit my instruction to them as people. Read More

Slow and steady progress in all areas of music is the way I have learned, and is the way that I teach. Read More
