I've toured throughout Alaska, Canada and the Pacific Northwest with my previous acoustic folk-pop duo Mama Drinks Bourbon. I currently play fiddle and mandolin with LA based rock band The Sound of Ghosts. Music is my life, my passion and I believe in embracing all genres and styles! I tailor my approach to the individual needs and interests of the student. I first began teaching during my undergraduate program and have since taught in many different settings and for many different strings instruments. As an orchestra director of a grade and middle school, I was responsible for creating an appropriate string curriculum for my students and I was directly responsible for teaching beginning strings (violin, viola, cello and double bass) through Grade 3 difficulty. I am a passionate music teacher with a focus on student success. I graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education.
