I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who enjoys teaching all he learned from his loving and knowledgeable teachers. My interests and skills in music are ranging from performance (guitar, piano, voice...) teaching of the same instruments I play to composing, arranging and recording, as well as teaching related courses.
I teach more than 35 years now. It is a great experience combined of mostly private lessons and classroom experience. I am trying to motivate my students according to their interests and also buy using a worldly music knowledge that we inherited form generations of musicians who ever lived on Earth. Works of contemporary musicians are also used as a great tool for inspiration of my students. I encourage my students to performing public, even in a very small scale. This is crucial fro their self-expression and freeing themselves from eventual emotional inhibitions. It is great joy to play or sing music with others, and they are also directed appropriately.
My teaching method is based on good old time tested traditional methods. This is combined with whatever new findings can help in easier understanding and progress of students. My students are partially participate in creating their own repertoire. This makes them feel as an active and important member in their own artistic and emotional development.
It is great to see the joy on students faces when they realize how good their progress is. I always knowledge their success in overcoming of obstacles they find on their way. It is also a joyful challenge for both, student and me, to find the way through greater difficulties when they arise. Then the success is even sweeter.
