Overview:
"To be inspired is great, TO INSPIRE is incredible." I love to inspire children and it gives me a great pleasure when they improve and do well. I started playing piano at a young age. My teacher was a very good pianist but a poor educator. Five years later I found a new, wonderful teacher who inspired me to learn. I am grateful for her and her passion and I hope to give that knowledge to my students.
EXPERIENCE
I started teaching piano 5 years ago. I love teaching and I love kids. Encouraging the kids to practice regularly at home is important. But also HOW to practice at home is as equally as important. Passion is contagious and I hope that my students can follow my passion.
METHODS USED
I like to use "Piano Adventures by Faber". Also I teach music theory and ear training. My students musical interests are important to me. I try to find materials that they will enjoy playing. Children must be thought not what to think but how to think. I ask my students to try to find the answer themselves not always giving them the answer.
LESSON STYLE
I love to see my students improve. When a student is bored then I am not doing my job as a teacher. Inspiring my students is an important part of my teaching. I love seeing my kids improve and believe they can do anything.
