. My greatest joy in my life is helping students achieve their full potential and find so much and enjoyment while doing it. Teaching is a true gift and I am so happy to be blessed with the ability to do so! I am always looking for new and interesting teaching methods and I keep up[to date on the newest teaching styles and even you tube vidios!I started teaching because I have a passion for teaching, as well as helping students reach their true potential. I not only teach the students looking to learn their craft, but also those looking to better their ability. My goal is to impart my knowledge and love of music, theater and speech to all of my students. I now teach in my fully equipped home studio in Elk Grove, CA. I do create my own custom lesson plan for each student depending on their age, experience and desire. I include acting, vocal warm ups, tongue twisters, song selections and audition prep and stage presence and microphone use. I send each student a specifically designed program that will best suit their needs and is age appropriate. Thus, they have a lot of material to practice from vocal warm ups, tongue twisters, different musical genre including all types and a vast selection of acting scripts, commercial copy, monologues, vocal warm ups, tongue twisters, different musical genres including all types from them to choose from. I also help them develop audition and live theater skills..thus developing their acting and projecting skills!
Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for singing! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I try to set realistic goals for my students at each lesson. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs!I encourage my students to practice at least 15 minutes per day and I continually each student new materials to practice( which is age appropriate.) My teaching method always includes at least one Broadway musical piece and one monologue for them to learn in case they need an audition piece. I encourage my students to choose the genre of music that they like and also to try new styles to insure their desire to succeed! I also conder with students parents or guardian to assure we are all on the same wave lenght!
