. My greatest joy in my life is helping students achieve their full potential and find so much and enjoyment while doing it. Teaching is a true gift and I am so happy to be blessed with the ability to do so! I am always looking for new and interesting teaching methods and I keep up[to date on the newest teaching styles and even you tube vidios!
EXPERIENCE
I not only teach the students looking to learn their craft, but also those looking to better their ability. My goal is to impart my knowledge and love of music, theater and speech to all of my students. I now teach in my fully equipped home studio in Elk Grove, CA. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the singing and acting and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. If a student isn't having fun in their lessons, then I'm not doing my job! My students are encouraged to enter competitions and recitals, as well as work on composing their own original material, so they can feel good about their accomplishments and stay motivated to learn. I'm always looking to bring on new students of all ages!
METHODS USED

I started teaching because I have a passion for teaching, as well as helping students reach their true potential. I not only teach the students looking to learn their craft, but also those looking to better their ability. My goal is to impart my knowledge and love of music, theater and speech to all of my students. I now teach in my fully equipped home studio in Elk Grove, CA. I do create my own custom lesson plan for each student depending on their age, experience and desire. I include acting, vocal warm ups, tongue twisters, song selections and audition prep and stage presence and microphone use. I send each student a specifically designed program that will best suit their needs and is age appropriate. Thus, they have a lot of material to practice from vocal warm ups, tongue twisters, different musical genre including all types and a vast selection of acting scripts, commercial copy, monologues, vocal warm ups, tongue twisters, different musical genres including all types from them to choose from. I also help them develop audition and live theater skills..thus developing their acting and projecting skills!

LESSON STYLE

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for singing! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I try to set realistic goals for my students at each lesson. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs!I encourage my students to practice at least 15 minutes per day and I continually each student new materials to practice( which is age appropriate.) My teaching method always includes at least one Broadway musical piece and one monologue for them to learn in case they need an audition piece. I encourage my students to choose the genre of music that they like and also to try new styles to insure their desire to succeed! I also conder with students parents or guardian to assure we are all on the same wave lenght!

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
