I began as a formal teacher during my senior year at The University of New Haven, teaching private instrumental lessons as well as tutoring existing students in theory and other music classes. I have taught students as young as 5 years old as well as adults much older than myself with incredible results. My primary instruments are guitar and drums/percussion. I have also taught numerous piano and bass guitar students all whom have recieved a great start to their musical journey. I also have formed great relationships with my students and have had a majority of them stay with me for many years. 

Each student is unique in the way they learn and progress. I come in to each new lesson trying to learn what works best for each student, as well as what each student is trying to gain from the lessons. For example a very young student may just need exposure to the world of music in a very fun learing atmosphere, while an older or more advanced student may want more a more intense lesson. I strive to make each lesson fun and informative for every student I teach.
