I'm a guitarist from a military background. My parents served and we ended up moving around all over the place which has influenced both my writing and playing style enormously. I was raised on all variations of rock from the classics of the 70's and 80's to my brother playing 90's alternative. I have a deep passion of music to the point that I am currently studying for my bachelor of music performance at Musicians Institute. With 6 years of education and 3-4 years of performance experience I feel I can help you achieve your dreams!
I'm a guitarist with 6 years of education and 3-4 years of performance experience. I have performed at several venues and am currently studying for my bachelor of music performance at the renowned Musicians Institute in Hollywood. I am mainly a hard rock and metal dude but also have a deep passion for classical and blues. I also have experience with songwriting and lyric writing and have written songs for other people in various styles such as rock,metal,pop, and singer songwriter just to list a few.
I like to first assess where the student is at experience wise as well as what their personal goals are. If they are just starting to play guitar I can show them chords and songs that are not too difficult and help them develop their style from the get go. If they are a little more advanced and have a grasp already on certain techniques and scales then I can help guide their interests more and help them realize their goals whether it be songwriting based or performance based I feel my method can help anyone interested.
For me I am all about helping a student realize their full potential and goals. Whether they want to create their own music or play guitar solely to help them relax, I want to guide them on their path and help them learn from my experiences and knowledge. I aim to inspire in any student a love of music as well as an understanding of the importance of pursuing music in some facet. I focus on what a student wants to learn and what they personally aim for rather than try to force any ideas on them.
