I have been playing guitar since I was 10 years old. I have a passion for Rock, Funk, R&B, Blues, Soul, and Hip-Hop. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music. I write original music and I am always contining my education of music. I have a passion for improvisational jams and I can help any student who wants to learn the craft of improvisation. I can help singer/songwriters by exploring the techniques I have learned at Berklee College of Music.
My teaching experience dates back to high school. When I was in high school I started teaching private beginning guitar lessons in my hometown. Once I moved to Boston I continued my search for students. I teamed up with Musika as a resource to find enthusiastic students of all ages!
My method is organic. If the student wants to pursue Music Theory we can start with that but I like to develop the passion of music first. It is about having fun!! The passion and energy needs to be there first before we get into any theory. Once we build your love for the guitar we can expand your repitoure of technques and knowledge.
I make sure that I listen to the student's aspirations. Once I were are on the same page I let the student progress at his or her own pace. We set weekly goals that will give students a boost in self-confidence that is needed when learning a new craft. Inspriation and engagemtn is very important to me as a teacher.
