Overview:

am a professional violinist. I have a Bachelors Degree in Music with a violin specialization and Musical Pedagogy. Violin students can expect to improve week to week in their skills and technique. It is important to be consistent with violin classes; I teach students to release built up tension and apply foundational techniques in order to unlock their own individual sound. I can help any student to play with expression, intonation, and confidence. I cannot wait to start with our lessons! I teach violin students of all different ages. I studied classical violin for 19 years, and popular for 5 years. I am qualified to teach students to read music and pursue classical excellence, to learn how to play popular music whether the student prefers a music sheet to read while they are playing or memorize it, depending on the student's goals and choice. I have performed in a Chamber Orchestra for ten years. I have toured South America and the Caribbean. I also have performed as a soloist in different ensembles and Orchestras with a vast repertoire. My personal passion is for classical, popular, pop and rock music, it is important to understand that an accurate technique is essential to all music styles. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to improve and become a better musician and performer in every class!

METHODS USED

For Violin : Essential Elements, Suzuki, String builder. Piano: Tomphson, Alfred's method, Faber and Faber method. The Suzuki Method is based on the principle that all children have the capability to excel at music and that a nurturing environment can help develop and enhance that capability. Whether you’re a young child or well into your adult years, the Suzuki Method is appropriate for harnessing your ability to play the violin. Different students respond better to different methods. With my help and guidance and knowing child’s learning style, I’ll be able to make an informed decision about which is best for each student.

Directed and organized violin recitals of my students. Performed in recitals with the students in different events of the Conservatory. Coached the Chamber students’ Orchestra.
