I am open-minded and engaging instructor who share through music my love and passion. I studied in Lviv, Ukraine, graduated from Lviv Music Academy in 2016, Bachelor of Music Art, Cello Teaching, Solo and orchestra Performance. Currently, I am finishing my Master Degree in Southeastern Louisiana University. I performed as solo and member of different orchestras and chamber ensembles in Europe and South US. Thus, gaining experience and acquiring different views on music art and performance. All my knowledge about cello art I share through teaching.
My teaching experience dates back to my university days, as I helped my friends and colleges to pass through disappointments and difficulties encountered frequently in practicing, with cello at their hand. To find joy in playing the cello, take it easy and be relaxed is a foundations of string performance. The lessons of cello art is place for joy and relaxation. I am insisting not fully on regular practice, which is important on all stages of playing, but on thorough and mindful practice each time when ones take the cello. With awareness to the smallest signals of the body. This will enable one to achieve desirable result.
My methods depends from the level each student possess. For beginners, typically start with introducing the main basic ideas of playing. Better understanding how things works on cello, will help to achieve desirable result. Through working process begin to introduce appropriate repertoire needed for daily improvement.
For intermediate and advanced student, aside from teaching foundational instrument technique, I try to guide student, helping unfold all inner potential and foster creativity. Additionally,as a motivation and inspiration I also play with student duet. No matter on which stage student is the journey of cello studying is full of joy and excitement.
It is really nice to see student developing love to music. As a teacher, main role of mine is to guide and foster student personality in pursuing her/his goals. To motivate and inspire, providing any help needed for successful resolving all problems encountered on the students learning music path. Strong communication with students enable me to find out what inspires them. Additionally, to determine strong and weak points of their music integrity. These allow me to understand how I can contribute to overcoming of their weaknesses (music-wise) and keeps my teaching process to their wants and needs.
