Associate Degree: College of arts
I’m a singer and vocal instructor that loves what she does. I started singing when I was 5 years old, at 9 I started recording audio covers of songs I liked. I was always passionate about music and singing. In 2020 I graduated from college of arts. I teach and sing pop, jazz, soul, blues. I have participated in various competitions and festivals. Performed on big and small stages. I am a laureate of regional and international competitions. I've been singing since I was 5 years old. I took masterclasses from singers and vocal instructors.
My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 4 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students for 5 to 55+ years old. In my lessons the most important thing to relax, have fun and express yourself. I let students pick which song they like and let them add a piece of their vision of the song. If a student isn't having fun in their lessons, then I'm not doing my job! Regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for singing!)
First, I will check the students capabilities and voice, no matter what your age is, to know what you can do or what you can’t do YET! For beginning students who are children, I typically start with breathing and voice building. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. But no matter what age the students are will learn the basics of music and techniques! So they can start adding them to the song!)
Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music, pursue their dreams and make them come true! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. Because we all have different begging points. We will set the goals and achieve them together! Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. Singing is a beautiful and interesting process. I’ll do my best to help find your voice and style. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs.
