• Over 25 years of public and private formal piano instruction for clients ranging from children to adults in music theory, history, & technique in the United States and Russia. Specifically, taught Solfeggio, History and Theory of music for four (4) years and graduated with distinction as teacher of music. Moreover, skilled in developing curriculum under Methodist of Musical Education and historical theoretical disciplines.
I offer Piano and Music theory lessons to students of all ages and levels. Each of my student gets customized curriculum and repertoire. The first lessons includes talking about your goals, discussing your music preferences and experience, your availability to practice weekly, and making a plan for you for the next six months. Do you want to play just for your self or would you like to perform publicly? Do you like to be on stage or do you have a fear of stage? We will work on it together! You will learn a lot with me.
I combine working on technique,correct hands position, improving your sight reading skills, music theory, and repertoire. I always recommend to include working on Studies/Etudes to find out week arias of your technique and find a perfect way to improve it in a smart a fun way. We will do some singing, note reading, tapping/ clapping different rhythmical patterns. Working on not just playing notes but music is a big part of my teaching philosophy. You will learn about all dynamics sighs and musical terms, so you will become familiar with a lot of Italian words,
