I am a teacher with skills of excellent abilities. Online learning can be accomplished with facetime or skype youtube has many video clips I have uploaded.
Over the years. I have taught many students of all ages and have incorporated many styles. I have also performed at any music clubs and venues throughout the years. Utilizing songs made famous by numerous entertainers, this is one of the ways earned a living. I would play and sing the songs people would like to hear.my ability also is the key changes needed at various times
My teaching experience dates back to my high school years where i would actually walk to a students home to teach. I have been teaching for over 50 years. Students leave with a sense of excitement and accomplishment and look foward to the next weeks lesson.
Making music with new students is always exciting and very rewarding to see a new student actually accomplishing something that will benefit their lives in future years to come. Finding the time and energy is something, I always accomplished easily.
For beginning students on guitar i typically start wih Hal Leonards book 1. With about 50 pages in this book, we can go thru at a steady pace and be playing songs from the beginning. Makeing music from the very beginning is the key ! Even the simple one line practice exercizes i back up with a harmonic chordal accompaniment for a satisfying duet.
The basic learning books I use to accomplish having the student play music from the very beginning. Even at a younger age that seems to be the best approach in the accomplishment of teaching new students. A student of later years is also fun to teach because they are like younger Students they would they appreciate having the learning experience.
Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to accomplishing that wants and needs their wants and needs. Adults and children are the most rewarding students that anyone can find. Thank you.
