I'm originally from Moldova.There was a rich musical culture and i started to be interest in music when I was young. Since 1969 I was student in Kishinev Music College and State Institute of Arts and graduated at 1979 as accordion teacher and conductor of Folk popular instruments orchestra. Next,I taught in Moldova in Kishinev Teacher's College and University and worked with different kind of orchestras. In the USA,I worked since 2002,as music teacher for individuals. Two years I worked in the European education services with different teaching positions.
I started to teach during my time in Music College.It was teacher job in small elementary school with different groups of children in Moldova. After that I worked in Music school for students with individual lessons and conducted orchestra classes. After State Institute of Arts I got promoted in Teachers College for teaching music instruments and conducting of Folk orchestra. After fifteen years of working there,I worked some years in State University as music instrument teacher,after I moved in USA. Two years I worked in European education services,Sacramento CA
Music teaching methods formed many centuries ago and modern teachers use them. How to transmit my knowledge's to my students is my method. It can to show them what they need to do and we decide with way is the best for them. I help my students think about all future questions that does appear because when performing,a lot of questions need to be solved before playing on the scene. Studying music is the long process for students and my goal is to optimize it in the best way possible. Therefore main goal in every lesson is to increase his or hers ability in music.
Music is emotional art and I like to explain it how it easy if you know basic knowledge. For me it's important making good progress in small think of student work. These new small developments are required to be accomplished during my lessons. My style is more practice then explaining. I try to show emotion in music rather than just playing simple notes. My style of teaching is not directly one ways for all students,I have to change it always when I can see that some are wrong,or don't works well.
