I met Wayman a few years ago at a church music rehearsal. I immediately recognized his talent, but mostly his kindness, and I was very impressed with the way he related to people. I asked him if I he could take me as a student, and so I started lessons with him. He is very professional — on time and organized. I have had many wonderful teachers, but he tops the list! It took him no time to find my strengths and weaknesses, and he taught me to play so much better—to relax, and enjoy playing music. I have learned so much from his expertise! I would highly recommend him.

I have known and performed with Wayman for years, so when I was looking for a private teacher for my teenage daughter, I thought that he would be a good instructor for my shy, sensitive young violinist who really needed a confidence boost. Wayman has been a godsend. My daughter has achieved success after success auditioning for different groups and her confidence, skill level, communication, and leadership skills have grown tremendously under his tutelage. He has a unique way of connecting with her. He adjust, adapts his style, and listens in such an artful manner. We even recently conducted a last minute Zoom conference lesson just prior to another successful audition. I am thrilled that I connected her with Wayman. He is incredible!!
