Overview:
I am delighted to share my talents to those who are willing to learn. I am passionate about music and most importantly I care about my student's development. I can teach several styles such as jazz, classical, gospel and R&B/Hip-Hop. I recently completed my masters in jazz at The University of the Arts located in Philadelphia, PA. I hope I can you reach your goals and to become the best musician that you can be.
EXPERIENCE
I have taught some students while attending Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. I've also taught a master class to university students in Colombia, South America while on tour with the Morgan State Jazz Combo. I enjoy teaching to all ages!
METHODS USED
For beginners, I like to use affordable books such as "Standard of Excellence" or "Essential Elements." For intermediate and advanced students, I will present materials based off of the student's interests.
LESSON STYLE
I enjoy seeing my students grow and I understand that patience is the key to success. I move at the pace of the student and I love to motivate my students to be great. Everybody learns differently and I take notice of that. I will run my lessons based on the student's strength and effectively develop the students weaknesses. I am fun to work with!
