I am a fully-certified music educator of 18 years: I have taught both middle school band & choir to at-risk youth for 3 years, as well as elementary music at a private Christian academy for an additional 3 years. Currently, I teach students from schools involved in TMEA and ATSSB. My students have had success in All Region auditions, Area auditions, and solo and ensemble. I have 20 years of experience teaching in which I have taught band students from fifth grade through college. I have been an adjunct professor of a local college. Building relationships and using differentiated instruction with students has been a key element in guiding them to success. Students under my leadership have made the Texas All-Region Bands, Texas All-Area Bands, Texas All-State Concert Bands, and Texas All-State Jazz Bands.
