Initially (and throughout) I place a high value on performance fundamentals. I start with a focus on proper posture and breathing. Once this can be executed I breakdown the nomenclature of the student's instrument, how to put it together and break it down. I am currently an active freelancer in the Chicago area as a teacher and performer. I have performed with several orchestras in the past, including the Spokane Symphony Orchestra, National Repertory Orchestra, Brevard Music Center Orchestra, Masterworks Festival Orchestra, and the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra.
