Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I find that, especially for younger students, this is a great way to introduce beginner theory while learning to apply it to their playing. I am more relaxed and fun-loving, but I encourage quality musicianship. You enjoy something more when you have put in more work. More effort = more reward.
