Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I suit my lessons to the individual needs and goals of the student. For beginners, I typically begin out of a method book, but I also use studies and etudes that I have developed on my own in the course of my teaching career. Throughout the learning process, I engage the student with real music to build listening skills, and teach concepts like tone, phrasing, and expression.
