I love teaching students privately one on one. My youngest student was 4; a Piano student. She was from a Russian family and didn’t speak a word of English. Teaching her was a joint effort between myself and the girl’s mother who did speak English; a very interesting experience. My oldest student was 86; a Guitar student. He had studied previously with another instructor and loved to play. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with the lesson books you or I provide, preferably Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. Hello, My name is England N. and I am a passionate and a self-motivated Music Teacher who has a joy working with students from all backgrounds. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor's in Music Education (EC-12). While I was there, I performed with the premier ensembles such as the UTA Jazz Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and the UTA Symphony Orchestra.
