Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Learning a musical instrument should always be a very rewarding and satisfying experience. Therefore, I have a large variety of techniques in my musical bag of tricks to challenge all types of learners. During my 10 years as a full time band director, I have developed many musical "games", often based on Suzuki methods, to make learning fundamentals, scales, and repertoire much more enjoyable. I start each student off with the basics once they master the basics of both music theory and performance (this includes concurring any stage fright they may have) then I will allow them to chose their own repertoire and I generally switch back and forth so that every other week is the repertoire of their choosing and the following week is continued progress and visitation on the theoretical and technical aspects. For beginners I Use the essential elements book For intermediate students I use the Rubank intermediate method And for my advanced students I use the Abrans and Clarke method. With each lesson my goal is to the student learn a scale per lesson and a rudiment per lesson, we will also dig into the different styles and genres surrounding that specific instrument, and encourage the student to try new techniques. If the students already had books from prior music instructor, we pick up from the last lessons after answering questions to make sure the students thoroughly understand the previous lessons from the previous chapters. For beginning students, I've used the Mel Bay's modern bass and guitar methods, James Bastien piano library, Essential Elements for wind instruments, Advanced Rock drumming and Master theory books by Charles S.
