Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Ryan is a passionate music educator havingservedstudents in San Fransisco, Wyoming, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Colorado and now Ohio. He has been a teaching artist at the Aspen Music Festival where he taught and managed a private studio of local students in the Roaring Forks Area. He also taught at local high schools in San Francisco, CA.He currently resides in Cincinnati where he teaches as much as possible! I am able to teach trombone and euphonium lessons to anyone and any age from those that have just started playing through those looking to just improve their musicianship. I tailor my methodology to the needs of my students, and I am willing to work with them to try and find the best way for them to learn. I am a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music I was lucky enough to be able to do both my master and my bachelor degrees there, as well as getting the chance to study and collaborate with many musicians from the Cleveland Orchestra. I am a passionate and patient instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education, with a focus on Euphonium. I have worked as a long term sub in middle school band and have taught privately since that time. Guitar: An exploration of a variety of genres with an emphasis on technique and precision. We will master scales, basic chords, and important chord structures. Lessons will include an introduction to sight-reading and music theory as well as playing by ear, soloing, and songwriting. Bass: Lessons will focus on technique and music theory. We will explore a variety of genres and practice both sight-reading and playing by ear. Drums: Our focus is to learn basic rudiments and patterns while developing coordination. Read More

I enjoy collaborating with my students to achieve their musical goals in a positive way. I encourage my students to find their own voice and adapt lessons to meet their own needs. With a personalized music learning program, I can create attainable steps towards achievement that are developmentally appropriate for each student. In addition, I want to make learning fun so each lesson is specialized to students’ interests.
