I currently play trombone in ensembles such as the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra, Bone Therapy, Music City Bones, Music City Brass Ensemble, Franklin Brass Quintet, and in other freelance performances throughout the Nashville area. Even though trombone has always been my primary instrument I'm also very active playing bass guitar, playing in a wide variety of bands and genres ranging from hard rock to reggae. I have over 30 years of teaching experience. I began teaching Music right out of college, instrumental, vocal and general music classes. As a Pastor I still directed musicals and I taught drumers how to play drumset and required them to play for my ministry once they were good enough. I spent many years making my living at teaching instrumental music privately in schools around the area I was pastoring.
