Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Instruments: Trumpet
For beginning students, i start with the fundamentals technical basics of the instrument like long notes, scales and flexibility. Once the student has progressed, i will start with Arban's method book, H.L.Clarke Technical studies for Trumpet and my own exercises. Later i will introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first performance. For adults, i try to find out what the student is interested in, and from there, use that with my instruction to keep the lessons engaging and fun for them, no matter their ability level. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage my students by setting realistic goals and proving homework after each lesson to perfect for the next lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a student desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. Beginning students will learn the essentials, often through a book. We will work together on focusing and controlling all the trumpet muscles and begin to develop good habits. The initial stages are crucial to developing a proper sound so they are set up for less complications in the future. Older and more experiences students will not only be learning music theory, but also how make Music out of notes. Trombone became my minor instrument and expand my playing to orchestras and Jazz ensembles. I college I tried out for my first show as a performer on stage and have been doing ever since and continue to this day. I love the spotlights. I love sharing my enjoyment with students both as a teacher in the public schools and privately in a lesson environment. I enjoy writing music and have many songs in my portfolio over the years.
