I love teaching students privately one on one. My youngest student was 4; a Piano student. She was from a Russian family and didn’t speak a word of English. He had studied previously with another instructor and loved to play. I focused on material that would not only improve his abilities but provide him with something that he could play for people in his social groups. Read More

WHAT THAT MEANS IS THAT WE WILL USE WHAT NOW IS COMMONLY THOUGHT OF AS BEST PRACTICES. NOTHING TAKES THE PLACE OF PRACTICE, AND THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT, BEST, PRACTICE THAT WILL BE STRESSED. THE STUDENT HAS TO PUT TIME IN ON THE INSTRUMENT, OR THEY ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE AWAY ANYTHING. Read More
