Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. For each lesson, I begin with a 5 to 10 minute warmup before moving on to the student's assigned music.  I like to alternate between actual performance/practicing, and teaching concepts including music theory.  I also wrap-up every lesson by spending 5 minutes in review with the student, going over what they need to practice in the coming week ahead.
