Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I am a working private brass instructor in the middle Tennessee area. I am currently studying Music Education at Lipscomb University and previously taught lessons at Middle Tennessee Christian School. I am currently the intern of the Nashville Trombone Academy where my responsibilities include rehearsal coordination, demonstration, content creation, and management of our online presence. As far as performance experience, I have done a little bit of everything. Every student no matter the age must have a solid foundation of fundamentals. If the technical foundation doesn’t exist, then it is much harder to play music that we love. Development doesn’t happen overnight, but rather it is a lifelong process. I generally try to understand the fundamentals as to where the student is at currently. The basics are always where we drill the most. Playing the fundamentals must become like second nature as all the advance stages of playing and performing would always be difficult. Besides having a good grasp on the fundamentals, it is always important to find out what the student is interested in and the direction emphasis that the student / student's parent wants to get to of music lessons.
