I have spent the past three years living in Miami where I completed my Masters Degree in music education. During this time I was an active trumpet player in south Florida playing with orchestras, brass bands, jazz groups, and quite regularly latin bands due to the popularity of salsa/latin styles in that region. My Bachelors degree was completed in 2006 at the Univeristy of Delware. I'm a dedicated musician and instructor eager to develop ones musical abilities. Prior to attending the John J. Cali School of Music, I began performing throughout the tri-state area as a hired musician. While immersed in the multiple ensembles offered at school, I would also be involved in studio recording sessions, hired by artists and composers of various genres. I was born in Newark New Jersey in 1948 and began a life long love affair with the Trumpet at the age of three and a half years old. By the age of twelve I was performing in local clubs and was exposed early on to Newark Jazz greats such as Sarah Vaughn, Wayne Shorter, Woody Shaw and Larry Young.
