Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. The role of an instructor is to facilitate the curriculum from the perspective of making the student understand their place in the continuum of the course material being taught. For example, I taught music history with a firm understanding of timeline, events and major human figures involved. I will use a lot of coaching, affirmation, reassurance, and encouragement to fuel a student's progress and desire to stay with it.
