I am graduating from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and my two areas of focus are Music Performance and Education. While in college I performed in symphonic band, chamber concert, and a senior performance recital. For beginning students, i start with the fundamentals technical basics of the instrument like long notes, scales and flexibility. Once the student has progressed, i will start with Arban's method book, H.L.Clarke Technical studies for Trumpet and my own exercises. Later i will introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first performance. For adults, i try to find out what the student is interested in, and from there, use that with my instruction to keep the lessons engaging and fun for them, no matter their ability level. Read More
