I began leaning in the Walter Beeler method when I was in fourth grade. I have been exposed to various different methodologies to teaching brass instruments. I would tailor my instruction to give each student the best opportunity to be successful. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2008, I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Music degree in Trombone Performance. Teaching has been a regular part of my life since my undergraduate days. At the University of Idaho, I had the opportunity to be a Learning Assistant for freshman music theory, aural skills, and jazz theory; a position that involved more actual teaching than the typical teaching assistantship. At this time, I also ran a private studio with around a dozen trumpet students.
