Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Im a passionate and motivated teacher who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I started playing the cello when I was 6 years old but switched to viola in the fifth grade. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors Degree in music with a concentration in viola and education. For orchestra students I usually use Essential Elements to begin for the first two to three years. I also use the Suzuki method and books for studying above what they are learning in the classroom. For voice and orchestra students I also find out what they are most interested in and what styles they want to learn and incorporate that into my lessons as well. I am a passionate instructor who enjoys working with students of all ages. I started performing, professionally, at a very young age, during my 6 years at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. From there, I attended the Louisiana State University, as a cello performance major and performed with the school symphony, as well as the Alexandria Symphony, the Lake Charles Symphony and local venues. I went on to get my Master's degree at Georgia State University and then returned to Louisiana State University for my final degree in Cello Performance. Read More
