I was born in Montreal, Canada and started to learn violin at the age of four, in my grandmother's music school. My brothers and I attended weekly lessons at the school and music was part of our home life. I quickly developed a passion for music and became a more serious student in my pre-teen years. I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Education in December 2016, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and went on to teach Orchestra as a long-term substitute after graduation. I was also invited to be a Conducting Fellow at Bard College in both Summer 2015 and Summer 2016.
