For beguiner I like to start the with Essential Elements for Strings , a comprehensive string method by Michael Allen, Robert Gillespie Pamela Tellejohn , Afterthat book I combine Suzuki books 1, 2, 3 Studios Wolfarht,some Russian methods,(I have learned with most of them) Some scales books Grigorian, etc. for more advanced student i use to teache with Mazas, Kreutzer, Fiorillo, Rode, Dont, studios, and I combine the lessons focused in the princeipal golas for right or left hands.I like to start with left hands, focused in the fingrs positions and distances between each and other, entonation,at first in pizzicatto style, and then the bowl and the right hand. I am a member of the Symphonicity Orchestra in Virginia Beach, VA and the Georgia Philharmonic Orchestra in Atlanta, GA. I have studied under the direction of The Hampton Roads Chamber Players and The Bay Youth Orchestra in Norfolk, VA. Currently performs several times a year at The Biltmore House in Asheville, NC and several other events in the Atlanta Metro area. I'm very passionate to share my love for music with students that are eager to learn. I started playing the violin at the age of 5 and switched to the viola at the end of middle school. I'm born in Bulgaria, and in 2011 moved to the United States to pursue my higher education. I completed a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Viola Performance, at the University of Georgia. I received my MM and Artist Diploma in Viola Performance from Texas Christian University, and BM from the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria. Read More
