I have taught beginners of all ages as well as more advanced students, and have led group classes. I bring all my love for music to the lesson, and practice empathy and kindness with my students. I am a patient teacher and encourge students to work at their own pace. If we need to spend more time on a certain concept or technique than one lesson allows, we will. I want to make sure that they understand throroughly before moving on to the next concept. I started teaching in 1991 after graduating with a degree in Music History. I also gained training at that time as a Suzuki Teacher books 1 to 4. As I grew as a teacher I learned that to reach students I had to mold to their way of learning, so I now don't use one particular method. I am a graduate of National Kiev Conservatory of Music with Master Degree in both Violin Performance and Music Education. After graduation from conservatory I worked full time in the State Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine for 10 years and then another 8 years in national Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater.
