Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

As students progress at his/her own pace I try to keep them moving forward with realistic goals and encouragement. One important consideration I keep in mind is choosing the right music for each student according to developing skill levels. If the music is to easy, a student could become bored and unchallenged. Should the music become to difficult too soon, the student may become discouraged. Having said that, I will allow the student to try some "challenging" music, and allow them to progress and work up to a new level of playing. Read More

In 2012, I graduated from The Peabody Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin performance with Ms.Violaine Melancon. I also earned a Masters of Music degree in Violin performance/Peadagody with Mr.Herbert Greenberg in 2012. As a violinist, it is an incredible experience to perform on the stage and gets applause from the audiences. I wanted to share that experiences with students so decided to teach more students. For Beginning piano students, I often use the Piano Adventures series. For younger beginners, I tend to enjoy The Music Tree books. For intermediate students, I like the Celebration Series. For beginning violin and viola students, I use All for Strings first, then followed by I Can Read Music paired with Suzuki Book 1. As students advance in their piano or string studies, we eventually step away from method books and study staple, classic repertoire by composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach. for each lesson, I write custom lessons plans based on the student's needs and interests. I'll find the best methods for each student, and I believe that methods can be varied. For example, Suzuki Methods only can bring a beginner to medium level. After few year training with Suzuki, it is hard to make progressions on technique. However, Suzuki Methods can be a good fit for children under 10, because of the fun of study. Read More
