Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I start the student first by using The Mastery book by William Dick and Laurie Scott to learn the basic technique of the instrument. As soon as I think the student is ready I start teaching simple songs by rote. Eventually I introduce to the student to String Explorer to teach music reading and emphasize the techniques already explored in the Mastery Book and learn by rote. Read More

Among of many important teachers both in US and Italy I have studied with Giusto Cappone (left), the legendary principal violist of the Berliner Philharmoniker during the golden era of Herbert Von Karajan, and the world famous DGG recordings. I have been passionate about music since the tender age of five. I took years of private lessons from various instructors, and progressed at a rapid rate. For beginning students, I always start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. I've found this book to be the best at introducing the instrument and reading the music. I may or may not continue teaching out of the books (there's 3), but that depends on the student. By book 2 or 3 I usually begin introducing Suzuki, as there are many solo pieces for them. Suzuki is also great for teaching technique, which is essential to their skill-set. Read More
