I am a passionate teacher who loves sharing music with my students! I am a senior at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, pursuing a degree in violin performance. I have performed with orchestras such as The Philadelphia Orchestra, and have toured with the National Youth Orchestra. That can seem a difficult goal for students, so each lesson targets a realistic goal for practice techniques and improvement. As we work on the short-term objectives, we also have the long-term goal of recitals and possibly other performances throughout the year. There are many ways to teach an instrument, one of them is from the perspective of visual memory, or I know, there are teachers who demonstrate first and then the student tries to imitate what he hears and sees There are also others who speak and ask for what they want without demonstrating anything, because obviously they are no longer at the level playing or because they have a condition in their hands or fingers, and they get things by speaking, making themselves understood by the word. I enjoy teaching all ages, and the most rewarding thing about it is when my students show improvement, take initiative to enter into the larger community (through a recital, stage performance, competition, or other activity), and achieve their goals! To inspire this I teach students at his or her own pace. I am a passionate and methodical instructor who loves motivating students to learn and share music. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Music degree Violin Performance in 2016. Throughout my performing experience, I have had the opportunity to play at Carnegie Hall in New York, as well as perform alongside the ASO at the Verizon Center in Atlanta.
