Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I am a passionate instructor who enjoys working with students of all ages. I started performing, professionally, at a very young age, during my 6 years at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. From there, I attended the Louisiana State University, as a cello performance major and performed with the school symphony, as well as the Alexandria Symphony, the Lake Charles Symphony and local venues. I went on to get my Master's degree at Georgia State University and then returned to Louisiana State University for my final degree in Cello Performance. Read More

I have two different tracts for students: the first is the tract for students who want to potentially have a career in playing violin and the second is the tract for students who just want to play violin as a hobby. For students in the first tract, I find out what their natural tendencies are and assign them scales and etudes which complement and challenge their tendencies. For more advanced players or even older students, I tend to match a certain technique book, Baroque-Classical literature, or Suzuki Book level to their skills sets, such as Mazas or Sevcik etudes, or Bach Suites/Partitas to further boost the skills they have while targeting skills that need more foundation. In addition, I have researched various method books and arrangements for fun small performances my students can create for their friends and family. Read More
