I first started tutoring younger students in violin when I was in high school, but after graduating from college I took on an instruction position at a local music school as Strings Instructor. There, I began teaching much younger students using mutli-sensory techniques to keep my students engaged and most importantly, having fun! My teaching experience dates back to the beginning of my studies during my Bachelor degree. I started as a Music Education major but soon realized I wanted to spend more time practicing my violin and focusing on performing. I have been teaching professionally for 11 years. Before I began my professional teaching career I already had several years of experience instructing my two younger siblings in violin and cello, even serving as a primary instructor to one of the siblings at one point. I have mainly taught private lessons out of my home. However, I was also a violin teaching assistant at the University of Oklahoma, I have helped teach private and group classes for music camps and events across the country, and am currently employed at School of Creative Arts in Cary.
