Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I started teaching when I was in high school. I was inspired by both my parents who are teachers and I learned a lot from them. I started growing my studio when I was in school, about 7 years ago, I was teaching at soundboard music in Stow, Ohio. My private studio kept growing so i decided to leave the music store and it has been growing since then. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to Cincinnati to continue her studies with a Graduate Incentive Award Scholarship. She completed with a Masters of Music as well as an Artist Diploma at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music under Dr. Catharine Lees and Mr. Masao Kawasaki. At CCM she studied chamber music under Ariel Quartet and was a member of CCM Philharmonia and Concert Orchestra. She performed four solo recitals and two chamber recitals during her Master’s program. My teaching style depends upon the student! I love reaching set goals, and I verbally check in to take the students feelings, thoughts, and playing into account. We come to a decision together, and I am not the final say on any matter. I see lessons as a collaboration, as I have much to learn from this experience as well. I prepare the student to be adaptable, and to use the skills as effectively in practice as in performance and lessons. Read More

My philosophy of teaching is that there is a base of knowledge and skills that a student must possess before a more personal journey in music can occur. While I don't subscribe to any particular method I do believe there is a best order to learning. After about a year of instruction I try to encourage students to explore music more on their own, and eventually get to the point where my job is more of a coach than a teacher. Read More

I believe in having a positive and healthy learning atmosphere in my studio as students are most focused and learn best with a positive mindset. My goal is to provide efficiency in violin practicing and using technical tools to help deliver musical ideas with precision.
