I have created a curriculum which is comprised of the Suzuki series for Violin, the String Builder Series by Samuel Applebaum and Introducing the Positions as well as Scale studies by Harvey S. Whistler. Music theory is taught using the Master Theory Series by Charles S.Peters and Paul Yoder. Additional Etudes that focus on Bowings, and Double Stops are taught to the more advanced student. I believe in teaching fundamental principles of technique that can be applied universally, and I encourage students to focus on one basic idea at a time. Scales, arpeggios, etudes and other exercises are an important part of daily practice, reinforced by weekly technique classes. I also hold a Bachelor of Music Degree with full-ride at the Peabody Institute of Music of the Johns Hopkins University. 17 years of professional training in violin, I'm an accomplished violinist with awards and prizes winning from major compeititons. I'm capable of teaching students from all levels and backgrounds and I give lessons with specific curriculums vary with students, so they could get the most efficient and benefit teaching according to their own needs.
