A doctoral candidate in violin performance, I have performed throughout the US and Europe. I hold a Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan, an Artist Diploma from the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University, where I also taught as an adjunct faculty member for violin and viola university students. Playing alongside classical artists such as Lynn Harrell, Robert McDuffie, Gil Shaham and Stefan Jackiw, I have also been invited to perform with Michael Buble, the Osmonds, and most recently with The Killers on Jimmy Kimmel Live. For beginning students who are children, I like to use the Suzuki violin method. While they beginning to show progress Ill begin to include F. Mazas Melodios and Progessive Studies and the Wohlfahrt Studies combined with appropriate solo repertoire. For adults, I prefer to find out what their interest is focus on and I guide my instruction acording to this. I also like to include some Alexander Technique exercises to help my students manage their posture and to prevent getting hurt with the instruments position. Read More

I am a newly graduated musician who is eager and motivated to pass on my knowledge and experience to others! My experience with music has extended back 17 years, beginning at the age of six. For the first twelve years, I was mentored under the tutelage of Janet Houston. I also have a combined 14 years of orchestral performance experience, beginning with the Dearborn Youth Symphony which lasted ten years. For beginning student, I usually start with Suzuki Violin School. This is a pretty good methods for student to begin their violin life. There are many etudes like Wohlfahrt's 60 Studies For the Violin, Mazas' 30 Etudes Speciales and so on, I will make their individual plan introduce the Etude which fit them the best to my student to make progress on performance skill efficiently.
