Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I started giving Music lessons 20 years ago. I began giving private lessons and group lessons part time in the afternoons after I finish school in the mornings. I start by setting realistic goals for each lesson, but I will not rush past something just to be able to finish the lesson plan I had written out for the day. The core fundamentals of violin are so important and believe that everything deserves adequate attention. Quality over quantity. I believe in giving student specific compliments, but children can tell when you are not being genuine, so I make sure to be thoughtful when giving them. Read More

I love seeing the student become interested in the violin. Each student is different and I try to understand each by asking questions and answering questions that they may have. I try to make each as comfortable as possible while playing the violin. I also try to convey my fascination and love of the instrument by performing my best for them during lessons. I am an experienced musician who has a passion for music and a passion for teaching. I have performed playing the violin, piano, guitar, viola, bass guitar, and the drums. Even though I play many instruments, I am only interested in teaching piano, violin, and guitar. Outside of being a music teacher, I am currently earning my Master's Degree in Mathematics. I was formerly a high school math teacher, but I want to earn my Master's degree in math so that I could teach math at the college level. Read More

There's more to learning to play an instrument than scales and chords. My teaching method is more holistic covering, as needed, technique, interpretation, theory, performance, ear training, music listening, transcription, music copying, the mechanics of the instrument. We usually begin with pad and pen and move from there. When suitable, an appropriate method book or specific texts are chosen. My method also includes time playing together.
