Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I am a violinist and violist living in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance. Since then, I have been teaching professionally and privately and I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels. As a performer, I have worked with several professional symphonies in Arkansas, Texas, and Massachusetts. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with a modified Suzuki method, starting with rote learning and eventually progressing to notated music. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. Read More
