Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My teaching experience dates back to high school days, where I felt the urge to share what I've learned immidiately after completing taking guitar lessons. I began to teach guitar at a community center at the age of 16. I also started to give private lessons along with the classses that I was teaching at the community center. In voice lessons, I start with the Bel Cantor style of teaching and once the fundamentals of singing have been achieved, its time to learn how to break the rules and maintain a healthy singing voice. In teaching piano, I use the book Alfred Adult for my beginning students. Intermediate students will focus on music theory and learning to play from a chord chart if theyre leaning toward a more contemporary style of playing. Read More

I seek to protect and encourage these young singers. For older students around late high school, I am very comfortable guiding them through the college application process for music schools, having done so for several of my high school students last year. I put into lessons with adult students whatever they seek to gain from them. I will seek performance opportunities for my students, but I want to keep our lessons fun and comfortable, rather than pushing them to be in performance situations if they do not desire them. I have over 16 years experience in playing and performing vocal, guitar and various percussion instruments. I have been teaching music since I was 16 years old. I also have teaching experience as a TA in a university setting. I have taken parts in literally hundreds of performances ranging from concert halls to local bars and private parties.
