I find teaching very rewarding. The benefits of studying music are now well documented. It is amazing to see my younger students begin to excel in other areas of studies. And my love of singing and teaching led me to pursuing a music education degree that I am about to go into my senior year of at Miami University. During my time at Miami so far I have had hours of field experience getting to teach elementary, middle, and high school music classes. This involved creating and teaching my own lesson plans.
