Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Jill has been teaching children and adults for 20 years. I studied voice and piano and performed at various venues. Now, I focus more on teaching piano and voice. We work on technique, performance, note reading, sight reading, and interpretation. We also work on music theory. We do 2 recitals per year as well that are a low key and nice way for students to gain experience. I teach ages 6 and up. Read More

Once this balance is consistent, a singer is capable of communicating more clearly and effectively. I encourage students to delve into a variety of genres, languages, characters, and challenges. I've been teaching from as early as middle school. I had my first two bassoon students in middle school. Throughout high school I was a teachers assistant to my band and choir directors and frequently led sectionals, class activities or solo lessons. I always figure out where a student is at, and prefer to grow off the student's strengths as opposed to harping on their weaknesses. I have been in lessons before where teachers couldn't get past the smallest details, and these ruined the experience for me, as well as greatly affected what I was able to accomplish in my lessons. The opposite is also true, in that I have had teachers that haven't even informed me of a weakness that I had, and I wasn't able to improve because of it. Read More
