I have been working as an instructor for over 15 years. I can teach all ages and backgrounds, and have a very patient approach. I recently moved to the Denver area, and I am excited to start up and build a new student base. When I was twelve, I took on my first student, who was about four years old at the time. I began teaching guitar lessons informally in college. I learned then that I had a knack for helping people understand concepts and techniques on the guitar. I have had more regular students since my early twenties, from young children to senior citizens. I graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Music performance, emphasis in voice. During that time I was given the opportunities to sing with some wonderful groups including Kentucky Opera Chorus, Cardinal Singers, Early Music Ensemble, and Choral Arts Society. Since moving to Colorado in 2016, I have sang with multiple quartets and ensembles, including St Martin's Chamber Choir, Gaudium Verum, Anima Chamber Ensemble as well as continuing to teach music in an individual and/or choral setting. I began teaching voice as a school project when I was 14 years old and realized that I I loved it! From then on, I always kept my hand in teaching throughout my high school and college years. I started teaching full time, at which point I added piano and speaking to my repertoire.
